4 Months In

July 8th, 2026, marked four months for Ronald and Alicia Lee as the new lead pastors of Effingham Church of God. In the four months, a lot has happened.


Trips
1. Senior Retreat or Palmetto Gathering
2. Malden Camp-meeting took place in Malden, South Carolina.

Repairs
1. We replaced a worn-out air conditioning unit over the sanctuary.
2.  We replaced damaged wood, put down a shingle saver, and had the steeple cleaned and lit up.
3. Parsonage was upgraded prior to the Lee family moving in.

Ministry Review
Pastor Ron conducted over 120 hospital and home visitations, preached 54 sermons and had many meetings and counseling sessions.

The Church of God General Assembly in Orlando, Florida will take place July 26th-31st with two of our own teens competing for national honors. Congratulations to Chandler and Cole Bates! We are proud of you!

We will soon be installing a new board and ministry leadership
